Care Assurance Coordinator
Hi, I’m Kimberly. I’m a National Certified Counselor and Certified Life Coach with over 14 years of experience supporting children, families, and adults through life’s challenges and transitions.
At LEAP Lifelong Empowerment ABA & Psychotherapy, I serve as the Care Assurance Coordinator. My role is to help families feel supported and connected throughout their care. I check in when services may need extra support, help coordinate care when multiple services are involved, and work closely with both families and providers to make sure each client is receiving the right support for their needs. My goal is to make sure families feel heard, supported, and confident in their care every step of the way.
I spent a decade working as a school counselor and continue to support both children and adults. With children, I focus on social and emotional skill building related to mild anxiety, attention challenges, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. With adults, I often work with individuals navigating fertility journeys, major life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges.
Some of the experiences that shaped my work come from my own life. I understand the emotional weight of infertility and pregnancy loss, the realities of parenting children with medical needs, and the burnout that many healthcare workers and educators experience. These experiences allow me to meet clients with empathy, compassion, and understanding.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I draw from positive psychology and person-centered methods to help clients build resilience, focus on the present, and move toward a future they feel proud of.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, weaving, designing waterproof stickers, practicing pilates, and spending time with my husband and our rescue pups.
