Hi! I’m Kimberly and I’m a school counselor turned therapist. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) as well as LEAP’s Care Assurance Coordinator, I am passionate about helping individuals feel seen, understood, and supported – especially children who may feel like they don’t quite fit the mold or have fallen through the cracks in other settings.

I spent 11 years as a school counselor and continue to support both children and adults. I have a particular interest in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulty managing emotions, attentional challenges, and struggles related to confidence, self worth, friendship, school, and growing up.

My approach is warm, strengths-based, and individualized. I believe that behavior often communicates something deeper and I strive to look beyond what a child is doing to understand what they may be feeling, needing, or struggling to express. I enjoy helping young people better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, build practical coping skills, and develop greater confidence in who they are.

While much of my clinical work focuses on children and adolescents, I also have a special interest in supporting adults navigating some of the more difficult and often isolating experiences connected to family and motherhood including infertility, child loss, and parenting children with medical needs. I bring both professional and personal understanding to these experiences and recognize how important it can be to have a space where complicated emotions do not need to be explained or minimized.

In my role as Care Assurance Coordinator with LEAP Behavioral Health, I help families feel supported and connected throughout their care. I check in when services may need extra support, help coordinate care when multiple services are involved, and work closely with both families and providers to make sure each client is receiving the best support for their needs. My goal is to make sure families feel heard, supported, and confident in their care every step of the way.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, weaving, yoga/Pilates, and spending time with my husband and our rescue pups.
