Kimberly Buckingham
Educational Advocate
With over 22 years of experience as a dedicated nurse, Kimberly Buckingham has built a career rooted in caregiving, advocacy, and empowerment. Her journey into educational advocacy began in 2014 when her son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Facing firsthand the challenges of navigating the school system, she developed a deep passion for ensuring that children with special needs receive the support they deserve. Determined to help other families, Kimberly attended multiple special education conferences, including Wright’s Law and Partners in Policy Making, gaining invaluable knowledge of IEPs, 504 Plans, and the legal mandates that protect children’s rights.
Now, as an Educational Advocate, Kimberly works tirelessly to support families by assisting with record reviews, attending PPT meetings, mediating disputes, and ensuring that schools provide appropriate accommodations. She believes in empowering parents with the tools and knowledge they need to advocate effectively for their children.
Beyond her professional work, Kimberly finds joy in spending time with her two boys and her two Dobermans, Ladybug and Freya Reign. If you need guidance navigating the special education system, schedule a consultation with Kimberly today.
