Lindsey Hale

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Lindsey Hale, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA (TX/CT), has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with extensive experience in clinical leadership, telehealth service delivery, professional mentorship, and higher education. Since 2019, Lindsey has worked in a remote capacity, providing individualized ABA services while supporting families, clinicians, and educational teams. Her clinical experience includes direct ABA services through telehealth, caregiver coaching, behavioral assessments, treatment planning, and remote school and IEP support. She has also led RBT onboarding and training initiatives, trained fellow telehealth BCBAs, provided clinical oversight, and mentored aspiring clinicians and apprentices who have since become BCBAs.

In addition to her clinical work, Lindsey is passionate about education and the dissemination of evidence-based ABA practices. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Purdue Global University and a Course Instructor at Arizona State University, where she teaches, mentors, and supports graduate students pursuing careers in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is particularly passionate about growing the field by developing competent, compassionate clinicians who prioritize ethical practice, assent-based care, and trauma-informed approaches.

Lindsey believes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to ABA. Effective treatment begins with understanding the individual, their family, their environment, and their unique needs. Rather than relying on a single-program approach, she utilizes comprehensive, individualized treatment packages that draw from multiple evidence-based strategies to best support each client’s goals and circumstances. Her clinical philosophy is grounded in assent-based care, trauma-informed principles, transparency, accountability, and empathy. She believes meaningful progress should never come at the expense of an individual’s autonomy, preferences, dignity, or well-being.

Lindsey’s personal connections with family members and friends diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have further shaped her perspective on ABA and reinforced the importance of seeing the individual beyond a diagnosis. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to compassionate, respectful, and family-centered services.

Ultimately, Lindsey strives to meet each family where they are, recognizing that successful treatment is built through partnership, trust, and an understanding of each family’s unique dynamics, values, and priorities. Her goal is to work alongside families to develop flexible, clinically appropriate services that are not only evidence-based but also meaningful, respectful, and sustainable in everyday life.
