Tori Franco
Licensed Master Social Worker
Hi, I’m Tori, a mental health therapist providing telehealth therapy to adults and couples throughout Connecticut. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, life stressors, low self-esteem, and confidence concerns. I also enjoy working with people who may not be experiencing a specific crisis but want to better understand themselves, break unhealthy patterns, and focus on personal growth and self-work.
Specialties & Expertise
I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based therapy. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on managing anxiety and stress, processing difficult or traumatic experiences, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, developing healthier coping skills, strengthening self-esteem, or building greater confidence in yourself and your decisions.
I also work with couples experiencing communication difficulties, recurring conflict, relationship stress, trust concerns, and challenges with emotional connection. My goal is to help each partner feel heard while identifying patterns within the relationship and developing healthier ways of communicating and connecting.
My Approach
Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or intimidating. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, authentic, and grounded in empathy. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, which means creating a space where you can talk openly without feeling judged.
You can expect someone who will genuinely listen and meet you where you are while also helping you develop insight into the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns influencing your life. Whether you’re working through a mental health concern, navigating a stressful chapter, strengthening your relationship, or simply thinking, “I want to understand myself better,” there is room for that here.
Ultimately, my goal is to help you develop the insight, skills, confidence, and self-awareness you need to create meaningful and lasting change.
Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning to continue the work you’ve already started, you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. I currently offer telehealth sessions for adults and couples across Connecticut and am accepting new clients.
