Duties

  • Conduct detailed diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
  • Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions to children and adults, ensuring engagement and adherence to therapeutic goals
  • Provide parent training to ensure generalization and maintenance of skills in all environments.
    Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in treatment delivery
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Educate families and staff on behavioral techniques, intervention strategies, and progress updates to support ongoing development

Requirements

  • Hold current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Demonstrate experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy methods, and data collection techniques
  • Ability to perform client assessments, develop treatment plans, and execute interventions effectively
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
  • Excellent communication skills for working with diverse populations including families, educators, and healthcare professionals
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, education, or related field; master’s degree preferred
